Pig Out Nola Barbecue

We were next door at the cigar bar and got hungry, so we decided to try the place next door and it was the best decision ever. Chef Rodrick is very hospitable. The brisket platter was delicious! Would definitely come back here.

Great spot, amazing food, service and music. It was one of the highlights of our family trip to NOLA. Chef Roderick was super nice and made sure we had a feast. Had the brisket and ribs platter, everything was spot on. Thanks again !

The food was fall off the bone delicious. They're house bbq sauces were very good too. The staff look a bit stressed running with only a few people but the flavor of the food isnt lacking.

We decided too ask them where did they get the food from. They replied right there at the Pig Out and said that it was really good. We decided to give it s try. The menu isn't huge but there was plenty to choose from. We decided too order a meal to share since we both weren't that hungry. After looking over the menu we decided to try the Pulled Pork sandwich with fries and a lemonade. It took about 15-20 -min and our order was ready and brought out to us. The pulled pork was tender and almost melted in your mouth and the fries were delicious and well fried. The shape was kind of curly but they fried to perfection were. This was definitely a good a good decision to try this gem. If you're ever in New Orleans La visiting look this place up. You won't be disappointed

Nice small place. If you don’t pay attention you might pass by this place. I gave it 5/5 stars because the brisket was over seasoned to get that bark. But was perfectly consistent not dry it was juicy. Cole slaw was right on with the flavors. Fries were delicious

Excellent experience overall. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. The barbecue is top quality, full of flavor and very well prepared. The atmosphere is amazing as well, with blues music that really sets the vibe. Coming from South Texas, where barbecue is taken very seriously, we can confidently say that this place knows how to do barbecue right. Special thanks to Chef Roderick for an outstanding job—everything was perfectly done. Highly recommended.

I was absolutely stuffed after eating here the portions are very good for what you pay for, the restaurant was very clean there was two people working but service was still very quick, I got the brisket platter and oh my lord was it good, the BBQ sauces on the table were also very good, all in all would come again and recommend to all of my friends and family. They do not accept cash currently so make sure to bring your plastic. Personally I preferred the potatoe salad oflver the coleslaw but both were very good.

The food here was so delicious! Highly recommend stopping by for dinner - it’s close to all the tourist/high traffic areas, but down a less noisy street so that you could actually enjoy your dinner & company without shouting. The food itself was savory and flavorful bbq, perfect after a long day of walking. Thanks chef Rodrick for a truly delicious meal - we will be back again next time we are in NOLA!
